The annual Black Friday frenzy began like every year on Thanksgiving night.  Once the turkey was eaten and the dishes were cleared, giving thanks and lazing around the dinner table was soon forgotten as crowds rushed to malls and shopping centers all across America.

The best money saving Amazon deals were in effect all weekend and will carry over into Cyber Monday.  Those of you interested in the Fire Tablet can get it for only $49.99 instead of the regular $79.99 price.  “Just Dance 2020”, a must have interactive video game for “tweens”, is on sale for $24.99. You can even purchase a 2019 Macbook Air on Amazon and save $199.  It is currently priced at $800 through Monday at 11:59 PM.

Electronics giant Best Buy is also known for some awesome deals and huge crowds on Black Friday, and doors opened Thanksgiving Day at 5 PM.  Samsung flatscreen televisions were on sale and you could save as much as $350 on select models like the 70 and 75” TV’s. Another great deal was the Insignia Smart TV priced at only $199.  Best Buy announced other in-store deals on Black Friday.

Target also opened their doors at 5PM Thanksgiving Day.  Their biggest sales this year included a $20 Google Home mini, activation of several cell phone lines that came with a Target gift card, and the Amazon Echo Dot for $22.

Personally, I headed to Menlo Park Mall, and was surprised at what I saw.  The crowds were not nearly as bad as I expected, and the mall did not seem to get very crowded until about 10 AM.  If you missed out on the in-store sales, don’t forget to shop Cyber Monday on Amazon, Target, and all your other favorite shops.  There are less than four weeks until Christmas. Get shopping!
