After a long NFL season, two teams now remain and will go head to head in Super Bowl LI, the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers. The much anticipated game will take place in MIami, Florida on February 2, 2020. The Chiefs come into the game with a regular season record of 12-4 and the San Francisco 49ers with a 13-3 record. The Chiefs are equipped with studs everywhere, Mahomes at QB, Kelce at TE, Tyreek Hill at WR, and other players to compliment them. The 49ers defense will have its hands full with this group as they are one of the most exciting offenses in the games in recent history. On the other side of the ball, the 49ers have Garoppolo at QB and Kittle at TE along with other threats and targets for Jimmy G. The 49ers defense has been the bright spot of the team all season long so this matchup will be one for the history books.
Since coming to the team Jimmy has been very consistent helping the team win each week, but nothing can compare to what Patrick Mahomes has done in his first two years in the league. Mahomes has thrown 76 touchdowns with only 18 interceptions in his career so far. In Garoppolo’s three year career as the starter for the 49ers he has thrown for 39 touchdowns with 21 interceptions. I feel that no defense can stop the athleticism and rocket arm of Patrick Mahomes that many call the greatest of all time after two years in the league along with the many weapons that play alongside him, therefore I predict that Sunday’s game will end 42-36 Kansas City Chiefs.
