In Cranford, the end of the school year is synonymous with senior year activities and fundraising to prepare the graduating class for their final days at CHS. Fundraising will help with the cost of prom and graduation. There is an opportunity to get involved in all types of activities and we have compiled a list and schedule of them so that you don’t miss out.  

Senior vs. Faculty Basketball Game – March 23rd

Who will be the 2023 basketball champions? Ticket sales will begin in late February. Anyone can participate and more information is to come, about signing up. See Mr. Drexler or Mr. Huber for more information. 

The Fashion Show – March 31st

The fashion show will be held on March 31st in the newly updated auditorium at CHS. Groups of seniors dress up in their best dresses and suits and perform choreographed dances. The dances last about three minutes and are always a good laugh. This is a longstanding tradition at CHS and as seniors look back after graduation they often remember it to be one of their favorite events. If you’re a senior and looking to be a part of this event, it’s not too late. Reach out to the 2023 student advisors, Mr. Drexler and Mr. Huber, to join. 50% of proceeds go to the Senior Class and 50% go to Project Graduation. Tickets are already on sale and are $15 each. The payments can be cash or checks made out to “CHS PTSA Project Graduation.” 

Senior Lock-in – March 31st 

The senior lock-in takes place after the fashion show and will go on until about 1 am. The lock-in will include an evening of recreation, entertainment, games, contests, movies, and food. Senior students can pick up their lock-in permission slips in the attendance office moving forward and are due to be handed in by March 22nd. 

The 2023 Prom – June 16th

The prom this year will take place at “Brookdale Country Club.” The fundraising opportunities, mentioned above, will decrease the amount of the prom bid. Tickets for prom will go on sale May 8th. 

Graduation – June 22nd

The 2023 graduation will start at 7:00pm. If it’s outdoors it will be at Memorial Field and also viewable on TV35.  If it’s indoors, it will take place in the CHS Auditorium and will also be viewable on TV35.
