On March 14, 2024, at 7:00 pm sharp, a never-before-seen CHS event will take place. What is this, you might ask? Well, I’m here to tell you that it is the Senior vs. Faculty Volleyball Game! For one night and one night only, you can see your favorite teachers face your friends in Cranford High School’s lower gym!

Now I know you may ask yourself, where can I get tickets to such an event? Tickets can be bought right at the door night of for  $5; CHS students only have to pay $3! All the money raised from ticket sales will go to the graduating class of 2024’s prom fundraising!

The long-honored tradition of playing a student vs. faculty basketball game came to a close last year, allowing for this new volleyball tradition to begin. It was switched in hopes of getting more seniors involved and giving this year’s senior class something they never had. The class of 2024 missed their eighth grade Student vs. Faculty Volleyball Game because of COVID, so this game is also a second chance for seniors to participate. With that in mind, this will also just be a great way to celebrate the nearing end of their high school career!

For all of the seniors participating, wear your best athletic attire (you will also be getting t-shirts!), prepare to be rotated onto the court (everyone will get the chance to play, don’t worry), and bring your A-game! For all of the folks in the stands, get ready to cheer on your friends and teachers!
