The weekend of January 14th and 15th marked the third annual downtown Souperhero Stroll! Downtown Cranford storefronts were adorned in superhero themed balloon structures from DreamFactory Balloons, families and friends alike moseyed from restaurant to restaurant sampling the most delectable soups that Cranford has to offer, served by the friendliest and welcoming Cranford restaurant owners and employees.

There was a dish for every taste bud at this soup-er event! Chowder lovers could make their way over to the Garlic Rose for the delicious Garlic Chowder. And special showout to downtown Cranford’s newcomer, Mystic Lobster, with their excellent clam chowder. For a lighter option, soup enthusiasts might’ve checked out Rustic Mill’s chicken orzo, or the flavorful broths at Ani Ramen. Variety was added to the mix as well, ranging from Thirsty Turtle’s expertly flavored cajun chicken and sausage, to Venue 104’s pleasantly earthy chicken gumbo, to even the simultaneously cozy and refreshing turmeric butternut squash at Fresh Press Juice. However, if soup didn’t float your boat, there were always the scrumptious dinner rolls at Breadsmith and the always loved churros at Folklore Artisanal Taco.

All the proceeds of this terrific occasion went to the class of 2023 for Project Graduation.
