Turk-a-Teacher is one of Cranford High School’s most cherished traditions. In the Student Council led event, teachers throughout the school put their name on the line, and a student vote determines the winner who gets the unique honor of dressing as a turkey on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. Students paid $1 per vote, and all the money raised was donated to Cranford Family Care. This year, Mr. Feminello was the winner with a whooping 120 votes. This was closely followed by Mrs. Valeseyy who was about 20 behind him. Overall, the tradition always leads to a great time. Most importantly, everyone involved had lots of fun, and an impressive $250 was raised for a fantastic cause.
