Rachel Westervelt is a senior at CHS, a writer for Dialogue, and the student liaison to the Cranford Board of Education. She is inspired by the rich history of Cranford and its active community which she likes to incorporate into her writing. Outside of writing for the newspaper, Rachel enjoys dancing to her favorite songs, cooking for her family and friends, and reading on her front porch. She is also the president of the school’s American Sign Language club where she enjoys learning about language and the value of nonverbal communication.
